‘ The aim of my research is to investigate the morphogenic tissue regeneration, which is closely linked to cellular behavior in 3D. Engineering cellular environments such as chemical or physical factors determines the major factors for tissue morphogenesis in regeneration and development.’

My research focused on discovering bioresponsive hydrogel systems for innovative applications in biomimetic systems. Developing novel biological responsivity of microgels, combined with cutting-edge analytical techniques, will allow greater utilization of these microgels and the fabrication of ideal biomimetic systems.

I am interested in embryonic stem cell differentiation for functional cardiac organoids. I am working on the effects of differentiation signal on 2D and 3D micro-tissues to elucidate the dimension dependent effects, which provides insights for micro cardiac tissue fabrication.
Kang-Gon LeePh. D. Student
I am interested in creating an organization or creating a scaffold with a 3D printer. We are also interested in developing and applying bio-inks for 3D printers. I want to use it for 4D printing. Thank you.
